FS2002/FS2004 Santiago Mendoza, South America, Soaring Scenery. This file adds thermals lifts to glider's flights over Santiago, Chile and Mendoza, Argentina Regions, South America. It is a tribute to Alejo Willianson, who in 1968 year crossed Andes Mountains in a Blanik L-13 solo flight from Lo Castillo in Santiago to Mendoza and won Otto Lilienthal Prize from FAI.

FS2002/FS2004 Calais Luftwaffe Fighter Field - Battle of Britain This is a Ficticious Luftwaffe Field, home of a Messerchmitt Bf-109 Squadron, during the Battle of Britain. It is strategic located south of the Calais-Dunquerque airfield, with its, also fictional, surrounding woods.

FS2002/FS2004 API macro - Shower Tower. Shower Tower with military Water "Buffalo", Trailer on top and 3 shower stalls below for Scenery designers. There is also a stand-alone water trailer in this file. The towers were used in the later times of the war and mostly on very developed firebases. When I was there you stood by the water trailer and used a coffee cup to bathe if you were lucky. If you were not lucky you bathed in a muddy river or not at all. At a minimum you had to haul your own water in Five gallon cans to fill the shower tank.

FS2002/FS2004 API macro - Control Towers. Control Towers for scenery designers. Three military versions including the Chu Lai Airfield Control Tower, Chu Lai Weather Tower and the Ky Ha Helipad control tower. Even though these towers were designed to match the real articles at Chu Lai they are typical of like towers used during the Vietnam War and can be used anywhere else without difficulty.

FS2002/FS2004 API macro - Guard Towers. Guard Towers in 3 versions for military scenery designers. Vietnam Veterans will probably recognize these towers as they were similarly built and used throughout the country during the war. Two are 50 feet tall and one is a short tower as was used on the beaches at Chu Lai, Vietnam.

FS2002/FS2004 API macro - Harbormaster Tower and a Firebase Searchlight Tower. Harbormaster Tower and a Firebase Searchlight Tower for use in military scenery by scenery designers. The harbormaster tower is as it was at Chu Lai, Vietnam during the war and has a bridge on the back to connect with a radar tower which is not included with this API. Most design programs have an operating radar tower that you may want to use with this tower. Also in this file is a similar tower without the bridge but with a powerful searchlight beam that is visible at night and is about 1.5 miles long.

FS2002/FS2004 API macro - Antenna Towers. Antenna Towers in 3 heights for scenery designers - 34ft, 54ft and 72ft. These towers are similar to the military towers used by Special Forces during the Vietnam war. They also could double for a HAM antenna tower. They are of triangular construction and the tallest one has a cement pad for a base.

FS2002/FS2004 API macro - Fences and Gates. Fences and Gates for scenery designers. Ten mostly military versions including double staked concertina, much simpler flat concertina, barbed wire on metal poles, barbed wire on wood poles, Chain link, double vehicle gates open and closed and a people gate that is closed. The double staked concertina is a complex object that you will have to use sparingly but the others are all flat and use very little resources so you can use miles of them. When in a "line of objects" rotate them 90 degrees.

FS2002/FS2004 API macro - Bomb Grates. Bomb Grates in quantities from 1 to 8 for scenery designers. Vietnam Veterans will probably recognize these steel pallets as they were frequently used for everything from walkways to foot wipers and even tent floors in the often muddy or sandy terrain in most of the base camps in Vietnam.

FS2002/FS2004 API macro - Zig Zag Trenches. Zig Zag Trenches in 5 different lengths for scenery designers. These military trenches are constructed partially above ground as they sometimes were in muddy terrain as in Vietnam. They are also above ground because flight simulator does not allow digging holes in the ground. They have a sloped dirt front and the inside is sandbags with a dark bottom to simulate depth.

FS2002/FS2004 API macro - 2 Man Tent. 2 Man Tent in 3 versions for scenery designers - both ends open, one end closed and both ends closed. This tent is often refered to as a pup tent. Soldiers in the field often carry one tent half and then pair up with another soldier for the night.
